Brit’s Beauty Tips: #5
Static is so awful, but the smell of static guard might be worse. The static culprit is usually dry skin, so try lathering your legs (or arms, tummy… wherever the clingy problem is) with lotion and re-dressing. If that doesn’t work, try lightly misting your garment with water from a spray bottle. Both are great, Earth friendly and stink free alternatives!
When a woman says, ‘I have nothing to wear!”, what she really means is, “There’s nothing here for who I am supposed to be today.’

The Cashmere Quandry
“Dry Clean Only” is not only annoying, but it’s not always the best method either. Taking a note from Tim Gunn’s Fashion Bible, I washed my cashmere sweaters tonight as he instructed:
1) Wash with baby shampoo, Woolite or Tide Total Care
2) Rinse thouroughly
3) DO NOT SQUEEZE OR TWIST DRY
4) Use a salad spinner instead to remove excess water
5) Lay flat on a towel until fully dry
No more shrunken or warped sweaters for me! Thanks for helping me make it work, Tim.

Texts Between Fit Models
Fit Model 1: I can’t handle the criticism today. I’m too hormonal.
Fit Model 2: I know… it gets old.
Fit Model 1: Like, someone commented on my chipped nail polish and I broke a tear.
Sunrunners by Christy Thompson. Love this song and this girl. “Hold my hand let’s run into the sun”
